Water-based Inks utilize water as the main solvent in conjunction with either dyes or pigments. The evaporation of the water is vital to cure the ink, either at room temperature or with the use of a dryer, depending on the ink used, speed or volume of the production. Water-based inks provide softer hand feel and have excellent ink penetration.
